Terms of Service

1. Overview

These terms govern the use of roganventer.co.za and any services provided by Rogan Venter, trading as a sole proprietor in South Africa.

2. Services

I provide website development, custom platform development, legacy modernisation, and ongoing maintenance services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are agreed in writing per project via a formal quotation and service agreement.

3. Payment

Payment terms are specified in the project quotation. The default structure is 50% deposit before work begins and 50% on launch. Alternative instalment plans are available on request. No work begins until the initial deposit is received.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of the custom code developed for their project. Third-party libraries and frameworks remain subject to their respective licences.

5. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided in good faith and to professional standards. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of any website or system I build. Total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific project.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant Magistrate's Court.
